Mary Lee Roe went to be with the Lord on September 13, 2016. She was born on December 16, 1952 in Houston, Texas to parents Thomas O. and Marjorie Lee Caylat. Mary loved her family, husband and friends. She was a Christian and worshiped the Lord. Mary was a servant to elderly people in need. She loved helping others. Mary Lee Roe went to be with the Lord on September 13, 2016. She was born on December 16, 1952 in Houston, Texas to parents Thomas O. and Marjorie Lee Caylat. Mary loved her family, husband and friends. She was a Christian and worshiped the Lord. Mary was a servant to elderly people in need. She loved helping others. She was a dear friend to many and truly loved by everyone she met. She was a free-spirited person. Mary loved children. As a child she enjoyed playing games, dressing up like nurses. Mary loved to eat out and going to concerts. She enjoyed going to barbeques and being with friends. Mary was preceded in death by and husband her parents, Thomas O. Caylat, Marjorie Lee McCord; and step-father, Alon K. McCord. She is survived by her husband, Dale Jones; sisters, Becky Rash and husband Charles, Tommie Fournerat and husband Mitch; brother, John McCord; nephews, Kyle Nicholson, Gregory Pruett, Carl Rash; nieces, Ashley McCord, Brittany McCord, Karen Rash; mother-in-law, Yvonne Jones; brothers-in-law, Tim Jones, Lamar Jones, Jeff Jones; great nieces, Keschet Pruett, Keely Nicholson, Drayton Nicholson, Alyssa Pruett, Angel Lara; and a host of other nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will receive friends for visitation Monday, September 19, 2016 from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM, followed by a funeral service at 2:30 PM in the Chapel of Chimes at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039; with a burial at Brookside Memorial Park.
