Reba Muriel George, 100, entered eternal rest on January 5, 2018. She was born February 14, 1917 in Kerens, Texas. Reba had two brothers and three sisters. After finishing high school, Reba went to work in beauty shop where she would charge 50 cents for a shampoo and cut. She then joined WAC and became a Mess Sergeant. She was stationed in Victorville, CA and was over two hundred women for three years. Shortly after leaving the Army, she met and married her husband, Charles G. George at the age of 21. Reba Muriel George, 100, entered eternal rest on January 5, 2018. She was born February 14, 1917 in Kerens, Texas. Reba had two brothers and three sisters. After finishing high school, Reba went to work in beauty shop where she would charge 50 cents for a shampoo and cut. She then joined WAC and became a Mess Sergeant. She was stationed in Victorville, CA and was over two hundred women for three years. Shortly after leaving the Army, she met and married her husband, Charles G. George at the age of 21. They traveled and lived in many different states over the years. Reba will be missed by all who knew her.

Reba is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation for family and friends will begin on Sunday, January 14th from 3pm-6pm with the funeral service on Monday, January 15th beginning at 2pm at Brookside Funeral Home. Interment to follow in Brookside Memorial Park immediately after the funeral service.
